Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

So many people have the wrong idea about how brussels sprouts are supposed to taste, thanks grandma for ruining it for everyone! These bad boys are so simple, plus leave a tender inside and a crunchy outside.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds brussel sprouts, stems cut off and cut in half (see video here)

  • 2 tablespoon avocado oil,  or ghee melted

  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or you can use glaze

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

  • Pepper to taste

  • 2 tablespoons cold-pressed olive oil for finishing

Method:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Toss brussels sprouts with avocado oil or ghee, balsamic and sea salt.
  •  Place on rimmed baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes.
  • Toss brussels sprouts with olive and broil them for the an additional 5 minutes until sprouts are crispy.

*Note* If you place too many brussels on the baking sheet they will steam rather than get crispy. If you like them crispy then use 2 trays so they have space! This goes for baking any veggies!
