ACTIVE INGREDIENTS IN STRENGTH TEA: Neakita’s herbal blends are designed with the intention of naturally alleviating, healing and reducing ailments and symptoms.

Ginger Root: native to India, where the ancient Ayurvedics used it as a digestive aid and for it's ability to stimulate every tissue of the body and increase circulation. Ginger is highly effective where the illness is due to poor assimilation. Ginger is pain relieving, antiseptic, and antioxidant, valuable for treating colds, sore throats and congestion. It also eases coughing and because it promotes sweating, it can be useful for flu.

Licorice Root: one of the most popular healing herbs in Ayurvedic medicine. Licorice is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antiviral. It has been used for ulcers and malaria, to treat throat and respiratory problems and to soothe rashes and infections. Strengthens the nerves, promotes the memory, treats asthma, bronchitis, throat problems, digestive disorders, colds, cough, disease, and constipation. Due to its strong sweet taste, it adds a beautiful balancing flavor component to the blend.

Peppermint: one of the most popular herb teas in the world. Refreshing and stimulating, peppermint tones and settles the digestive system. It relieves indigestion, diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramps, and travel sickness. It also helps to tone the liver, intestines and the nervous system. It is valuable in the treatment of bronchitis, colds and flu and it can reduce fevers by inducing sweating and cooling the body. Peppermint is a painkiller, beneficial for a toothache, headaches and some migraines.

Lemongrass: a tall, aromatic grass. It has a strong refreshing citrus smell that has many aromatherapy and domestic uses. Lemongrass has a restorative effect on the nervous system and the body in general. It is also a painkiller and antidepressant, good for headaches, lethargy, symptoms of stress and beneficial for muscular pain and poor muscle tone. It has fever-reducing properties and helps the immune system to fight infections.

Black Pepper: in Ayurvedic traditions, black pepper is named after the Sanskrit word for sun. Black pepper contains very potent solar energy and is a very powerful digestive stimulant. Black pepper stimulates the plasma and the blood, the nervous system, the spleen and reduces fat. It is beneficial for chronic indigestion, toxins in the colon, sinus congestion and can stimulate the circulation to help warm cold hands and feet. Black pepper has a 4,000 year old medicinal history.
